Amazing "Lunar" scenery around the Laguna Verde

In preparation for the trip we browsed through the satellite images of the area in Google Earth. We came up with this one in the area surrounding the Laguna Verde (or Green Lagoon).

A spectacular scenery of lakes, volcanoes, snow-capped mountains and the Salar de Chalviri (a miniature version of the Salar the Uyuni, at the top of the image). We can't wait to see it all for real !!!
