rini's notes day 4

Feb 27 : Tupiza

Recovering our energy.

Juan, Nino and Rini walked around the town in the morning and saw the children carnaval parade.

Javier and David left the cars in the car shop. We asked the mechanics to repair the doors and windows of Papamovil2, at least all can be shut perfectly to avoid rain, dust and wind enter. Both cars needed a wash.

We confirmed our program with Tupiza Tours (next to Hotel Mitru) which supplied one additional car with driver, one guide and one cook to accompany us for 4 days trip, from Sur de Lipez area to Uyuni.

Each of us did his/her necessities, like laundry, downloading photos, checking emails, phone calls, shoe repair, grocery shopping, writting journal, etc. But most of the times we just stayed in bed resting.

Well, since this is a short post and with no photo album. Let's make the post a bit longer with an introduction to the new three members in our group.

Our cook : EU

Our guide : IDEL
Our driver : SAMUEL

The whole four days they were with us, they did a great job, but we want to mention the exception. Eu's cook was exceptional. The chicken she prepared where we lodged in Laguna Colorada was to die for. Her soup was so tasty. So we're sorry for those who had bad food experience in their Salar de Uyuni tour. We had the best cook. We had great food in every, we repeat E.V.E.R.Y meal.

We highly recommend Eu. Ask for her to be your cook if you book your trip in any agency, especially Tupiza Tour in Tupiza.
